MALC grieves the loss on August 23, 2011, of Chris Mulford, IBCLC, of Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, a remarkable champion for breastfeeding for over 40 years, through her work with La Leche League and her work as a lactation consultant. ************ Capital Area Breastfeeding Coalition: "High Five for Breastfeeding"
Anyone with an interest in promoting breastfeeding is invited to the launch party for the Capital Area Breastfeeding Coalition - a coalition of people who would like to support mothers in their efforts to breastfeed. There are legislative opportunities, media opportunities, and healthcare and mother to mother support, too.
